Deleting an organization removes it and everything in it. There is no undo and no recovery. Read all of this before you start.
What is removed
- Every time log, for every member, for the whole history.
- Every project and task.
- Every screenshot and activity record.
- Every invoice and finance record.
- Every membership, role and setting.
Members are not deleted as people. Their accounts survive, along with any other organization they belong to. They lose this one.
Do these first
- Export what you need. Reports, timesheets, finance figures. Afterwards there is nothing to export from.
- Download invoices and receipts. Yours and your clients'. You may need them for tax years to come.
- Settle outstanding money. Client invoices and member payments both.
- Tell everyone. Members lose access the moment it is done.
- Cancel the subscription, if you have not already.
Consider the alternatives
- Cancelling the subscription stops the billing and keeps the data. If you might come back, this is what you want.
- Removing members reduces cost without losing anything.
- Downgrading keeps a smaller version running.
Delete only when you are certain the data has no future value: a test organization, a closed company, or a real data-removal obligation.
Doing it
Go to Settings → Security & Data and find the danger zone. You will be asked to confirm explicitly. Once it completes you are signed out and returned to the sign-in page.
Who can do it
Only an administrator with the permission. If the option is not there, you do not have it, which is how it should be.
