Update your profile

Your photo, contact details, working hours and bank details: what each section is for and who can see it.

Open your profile from the menu in the top-right corner. It is divided into sections because the parts have different audiences.

Basic information

Your name and photo. These appear everywhere your work does, including task assignments, timesheets, screenshots and reports, so a real photo makes a difference to how easy a busy board is to scan.

Contact information

Email address and phone number. Your email address is also your sign-in, and is what invitations and notifications are sent to.

Organization information

Your designation and your expected hours per day. Hours per day matters more than it looks, because it feeds the required-time figure your overtime is measured against. A part-time member left on the organization default of eight will show as permanently under target until it is corrected.

Financial information

Bank accounts, where your organization pays you through StaffVertex. You can hold more than one and mark one as primary. Only you and administrators can see these details.

Organizations

The organizations your account belongs to. This is where you confirm which one you are in and switch between them.

Who sees what

  • Name and photo: everyone in the organization.
  • Contact details: you, and administrators.
  • Bank details: you, and administrators.
  • Pay rate: administrators with the finance permission. It is set by them, not by you.

If a field is read-only

Some fields are set by your organization instead of by you, including your role and your pay rate. If something you expect to edit is locked, ask an administrator.

One profile, several organizations

Your name, photo and contact details follow you across every organization you belong to. Your role, designation, hours and pay rate are per-organization, so changing them in one does not affect another.
