Change your plan or add seats

Upgrade, downgrade, and what happens to your data if the new plan is smaller.

Go to Settings → Subscription & Billing. You will see your current plan and what you are using against its limits.

Upgrading

Choose the plan you want and complete checkout. The change takes effect immediately: new seats are available at once, and any newly included features appear as soon as the page reloads.

Billing is prorated by our payment provider, so you pay for the remainder of the period at the new rate instead of starting again.

Adding seats

If your plan is right but you have run out of room, move to the plan with the seats you need. There is no separate seat purchase, because capacity is part of the plan.

Downgrading

Also done from the same screen, but check two things first.

  • Seats. If you have more members than the smaller plan allows, remove people first. You cannot land under a limit you already exceed.
  • Features. Anything not on the smaller plan stops working at the change. Screenshots stop being captured and app tracking stops recording. Existing data is not deleted, but nothing new is collected.

Monthly or annual

Annual billing is normally cheaper per month and means one invoice a year instead of twelve. Switch between them when changing plan.

What never changes

Your time logs, projects, tasks and invoices are yours regardless of plan. Downgrading limits what you can do, and does not remove your history.

If checkout fails

Check the card details, then try again. If it keeps failing, it is usually the bank instead of us: a card that declines online payments, or an authorisation your bank wants you to approve in their app.

Who can do this

Only somebody whose role includes billing, usually an administrator. If the option is missing, you do not have that permission.
